Meribel is in the heart of the three valleys. The ski resort is made up of three villages called Méribel Village, Méribel Centre and Méribel-Mottaret. The resort was founded by a Scotsman Peter Lindsay. In keeping with the spirit of the place, the houses and chalets have been constructed in the old Savoyard style, using wood and stone.
