Morzine is a large and well established alpine resort, as popular in summer as in winter. It straddles both sides of a river gorge, with the centre of the village on the western side and is situated at the foot of the local ski slopes. Morzine is well connected to the slightly higher Les Gets and to Avoriaz on the Portes du Soleil circuit.
Sprawling along both sides of a river gorge, the resort has a traditional atmosphere, fantastic nightlife and enormous ski area to explore, the 650km Portes Du Soleil (12 resorts, 2 countries and 194 lifts). Ideally placed right in the middle of the Portes du Soleil, Morzine is the gateway to a marvellous winter playground, and has some of the finest skiing in Europe and extremely popular with the British.
